The letter from The Quilt Show that was attached to the email you sent to the people whose quilts were selected for exhibition stated that we could share photos of our quilts not only with our partners, but we could also share photos of our quilts on social media. There was even a badge included that we were encouraged to post with the photos of our quilt when we put them on social media.
Now, a couple of days ago, you sent a message through this site (The Quilt Show site) stating that the people whose quilts were accepted for exhibition are NOT to share photos of them on social media. I think due to some IQF agreement.
The original letter didn’t say anything about this. I know that several of us have shared photos of our accepted quilts on Facebook, Instagram, etc (because we were encouraged to do so). Now we are confused by this latest message.
Can you please clarify? Thank you!

You can share photos of your quilts; The Quilt Show cannot provide a repository for the pictures of IMQE quilts or share the selected quilts until the Exhibit premiers in November. Participants in IMQE can share.
Wendy - thank you so much for the clarification! It makes so much more sense now. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain this as there have been a lot of us who have been really confused by what appeared to be conflicting information. Thanks again!

Wendy Grande in a letter dated May 3 ...You are now free to exchange photo images of the quilt you made with your teammate. You are also free to share images of your quilt publicly. Attached to your email is a badge that you can also share on social media.
