As I wanted to do a quillow I am going to do a 2/3rds version - finishing 46 x 60 inches. starting with a 12 inch house and grass block and adjusting the borders so I can have 6 inch blocks in the later border.

Just in case any of you haven't seen it Andree has posted 1/2 size instructions on the forum - just go to recent topics and you should find it there. Happy quilting :0)

Rita that's lovely, I am loving your colours, gosh how quick do you sew. Renata I'm going to take a look at the BOM pattern again and will probably start it and do what you are doing, that way I can control how big it grows. Maybe a Christmas theme will be better. I did a Lynette Anderson Christmas quilt a couple of years ago, which my Grandson claimed. I had just finished hand stitching the binding and was admiring my work when he came in and said, "Oh Mama my quilt's finished, is it ready for me to take home?" It was a relatively easy pattern but I wish that I had let my Grandson draw the motifs (Santa, snowmen reindeers etc.) to personalise it.

Wow, Rita, you were fast! Love the way the green of the trees plays with the yellow of the house. Everything just looks like it belongs together. Very, very nice!
