Last spring Lilo had a chance to visit the studio of Jacquie Gering (Episode 1202).  Making a small studio space work is not always easy. Let Jacquie show you some clever ideas that just might work in your space.

On the way to the Houston Quilt Show Lilo had a chance to take in the Chihuly exhibit at the Dallas Arboretum.  Follow along as we share the beautiful glass sculptures set amongst the botanical landscapes.

The exhibit runs through December 31, 2012.

From a nation of pearl divers and spice merchants to one of the world's largest oil exporters, Kuwait has come a long way in a very short time.  An Arab emirate that covers an area of 6,800 miles (20,000), Kuwait is located in the northeastern area of the Arabian Peninsula.  Oil was discovered in the 1930s. 

Since its independence in 1961, Kuwait has experienced contained and rapid growth.  Join us for this three-part slide show as we re-visit a land of contrast and unexpected beauty through the eyes of the TQS member scwalanna.
