During the taping, we were all inspired by the mountains. So we checked the Quilt Gallery for Mountain Quilts. Here is a sample of some great quilts. Keep putting them up. You keep us all inspired.

We had a wonderful time at the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum in Golden, Colorado. They are busy moving to a new location down the street and they have found several quilt frames that need a good home. One of the frames is a true antique. They are really cheap, but you need to get them to your home. Take a look and then contact Brenda Ohlschwager at Brenda_O@rmqm.org.
Take a look and see if we made it. Of course there is a story and thank goodness for overnight delivery.
Here is a short update on Day 3. We are not out of the woods yet, but some things are coming togther. Walk through these pictures manually. Today John hopes to take his camera to the Rocky Mountain Quilt Museum.
Join Alex, Ricky, Justin and John on Day 2. They are getting prepared. Will they be ready?
So, why is John heading up to the roof of the Fabric of Life Boutique? Because, Carol Schillios, founder of the Fabric of Life Foundation is living there. Carol is living in a tent on the roof the building until 1 million people each send $1 and share how they are making a difference in their world. She wants to celebrate all things people do for charity and the causes they care about.
Visit with Carol in her dome tent with its port-a-potty, sun shower, and of course, her computer which allows her to blog the whole experience. Carol says, "I am ready to sit this out, rain or shine, and will stay up there as long as it takes." The wind played a big part the day of John's visit.
To learn more about Carol and to help get her off the roof, go to http://www.upontheroofwithcarol.org/ to donate.
