From Chapter One:

The show begins on day two of our three day trip. Anita Roadtrip, TQS' RV, is exchanged for a "regular car" when Ricky takes the lead and brings the gang to The Cotton Patch in Lafayette, CA. Alex and Ricky have a race to select coordinating fabrics and discuss the reasons why they made their selections.

From Chapter Two:

A visit with Carolee Hensley, owner of The Cotton Patch. Carolee and her husband Tom founded C&T Publishing. Their first book published was Roberta Horton's An Amish Adventure, which is still in print. At the shop, Justin discovers the Auto Lift Iron by Oliso and a portable ironing board, the Go Board, by Sullivans.

From Chapter Three:

Ricky surprises Alex with a visit to the home of Roberta Horton and Mary Mashuta in Berkeley, CA. Roberta shows Ricky how quilt labels can not only be functional, but how they can make the final artistic statement on a quilt.

From Chapter Four:

Alex and Ricky offer a tip by TQS User Yvonne Jenkins (Screename Yjenn), not Yvonne Williams, about how you can match your colors using the selvedge information provided on fabric. Thank you Yvonne for the tip. Then, Mary Mashuta shows Alex a fear-free way to machine quilt from her new book, Foolproof Machine Quilting (C&T publishing). We wrap up the Road Trip with Mary and Roberta showing Alex and Ricky some of their quilts, and Ricky getting a new flute from Alex.
