Special Guest Jean Wells uses inspirations from nature to create a series of small quilts. The surprise is how they are combined and displayed! Ricky demonstrates making a flying geese block with only one seam. Gregory Case, TQS' Photo Man, gives advice on selecting photos for use in quilts and Cheryl Uribe, Gizmo Girl, helps us get portable.

From Chapter One:

Ricky teaches the one-seam flying geese block, featured in his quilt Flying Colors. Gregory Case shows how to use photos for photo transfers. 
  • Folded Flying Geese Measurements: For each Folded Flying Geese unit you will need to cut two 3" squares and one 3" x 5 1/2" rectangle. Follow instructions in video for assembly.

Jean Wells shows off her quilts inspired by nature.

Alex and Ricky share an ironing tip. Jean shows Alex how to make an appliquéd Zinnia block.
