In this show, Debbie Grifka shares her minimalist approach to creating Modern quilts. Often inspired by photographs, she walks through the basics of creating a quilt based on a photo of the Canterbury Cloisters. Debbie also discusses her 100-day project, and several ways to make bias tape for your quilts.

Cheryl Phillips loves circles and shows Alex and Ricky a simple process for working with circles by using her Cut A Round tool.

The Quilt Show wants to introduce Cindy Seitz-Krug, a machine quilter for almost thirty years, who shares her approach to quilting designs that are grid based with techniques that are great for whole cloth quilts and easily adapted for patchwork quilts. Also in this show, Ricky shares tips for adding machine quilted lettering to your quilts.

The Quilt Show welcomes Alethea Ballard, a middle school teacher for 16 years, but one who doesn’t like to play by the rules when it comes to her art. Alethea shares her collage techniques for large scale prints to help tell a story in her work. She also has a great technique for finishing and hanging her completed pieces.

Then Tami Pfeil comes back to TQS to talk about floor canvases, and shares examples of fast, easy, and striking designs, while also providing some sewing tips.

We are starting off the New Year with a new show featuring Barbara Black and the TQS BOM 2020 Afternoon Delight. Barbara talks about working with Sue Garman and has tips for making Shoo Fly blocks and doing machine appliqué. Also in this show, Alex demonstrates how to prepare hexies and how to apply Swarovski crystals to create a wall hanging.

Throughout the show, Jean expresses her love for the process of color exploration, gives a tour of the Stitchin' Post, shares a mini-history lesson of the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, and then gives her own thoughts on all the different things she has accomplished in her long lasting career.
