(70"x70") Robbi dyed the fabric and created the spirals & gears that she loves. She put it aside for several years and then finished it (thus the title).

TQS 2015 Block of the Month

From McCall's Quilting Vintage Series based on a quilt owned by the York County Heritage Trust in York, Pennsyvania.

This quilt is hand pieced, uses 3 dimensional piecing, and is hand quilted. It is an original design.

This quilt was created in silk dupioni with Derwent Inktense pencils for shading.  It is inspired by the beautiful state of Pennsylvania.

Crimson Promises by Sharon Schamber was the winner of the Maywood Studio Master Award for Innovative Artistry at IQA Houston 2011.

Pickle Promenade by Sharon Schamber is an embroidered applique quilt. Sharon has a love for the traditional Pickle Dish design and this was a great motivation in designing the quilt. 

Fancy Shawl Dancer was created by Linda C. Anderson and won 3rd Place: Art Pictorial at Road to California 2015.  It measures 41" x 57" and was completed in 2014.

Exhibited in the Minimalist Design category at QuiltCon 2015, Modern Mojo 2 by Linda Thielfoldt.

Doodle Bird 2 was created by Joanie Zeier Poole and Pam Levenhagen. It won 2nd place at AQS Lancaster 2015 Wall Quilts – 1st Entry.

Peruvian Girl with Llama was created by Lea McComas. The young girl was out herding her llamas in Cuzco when Lea came upon her. The quilt measures 43" x 38." The stitching was done on a longarm machine. The thread work on the face is particarly dense.

Kayoko made A Soft Breeze  in commemoration of her 60th birthday. It is hand-appliquéd, hand-quilted, and hand-embroidered. It was featured at Spring Quilt Market 2015. Take a close look at the amazing use of yo-yos.
