They have some terrific examples of Jack’s Chain on Pinterest, nice quilt

I just made this pattern for a baby quilt. As someone else said, the pattern is called Jack's Chain. Oddly, when you are close to it, you don't see the circles; you need to be at a distance.

Look up Jack's Chain.

Who knew that a bunch of squares could make such beautiful circles within circles. Wonderful details.

Nice quilt. Looks like a lot of work went into making the quilt.

Thank you to BarbCA.....I did not even think of enlarging it. It shows the pattern perfectly. My eyes were on the quilt so I did not see the note by Lessa Siegele to "Take a closer look"

This is such a beautiful quilt. I have never seen anything like it. Is there a pattern out there?

Wow, this is a beaut! I love how the 9 patches create wheels. My grandmother back in late 1800s made a similar quilt using just blues and creams but no one could find it when she passed.

What a wonderful quilt! I just love it!!

What a wonderful quilt - I didn't notice the 9 patches until I enlarged!
