"Tea With Miss D." by Sandra Leichner

Here's just one of Sandra Leichner's Best of Show Quilts. It's Tea with Miss D. and it won Best of Show at MQX-West. Among its other many awards it won the Master Award Contemporary Artistry in Houston and Viewer's Choice at the Mid-Atlantic Quilt Festival.

I love this quilt! it is so charming and just lovely to look at so many wonderful details. Is there a pattern or book? I admire all the applique and quilting!

Lovely quilt Wish there were closeups. Even with zoom closeup can't tell -,is it embroidered or applique?

I saw this quilt a few years ago at the Road to California show. It's one I kept going back to over and over to check it all out. So many people around the quilt also exploring all the fun parts of it - hard to get in there to get photos of my own. I do have the book mostly just to look at it every once in a while. This is a stunning quilt for sure. So many things to look at a marvel about! The details in applique and quilting are awesome for sure. I couldn't stop looking at it, kept drawing me in for another look!
