One Yard Hearts - I teach a class called "One Yard Hearts" where we make this little wallhanging from one yard of multi-color hand dyed fabric.

Dancing Hearts - When life throws you challenges and you feel like you just can't handle one more project, dance. Donated to the Alzheimer's Art Quilt monthly auction project.

Mystery of the Deep - A friend of mine wanted to make her first quilt and picked this one from one of my books. I really didn't know it would be more complex to make than it looked. We all wanted different color schemes and we had fun fabric shopping. I started mine first and came up with a bit quicker 'strip' method than what was in the original design. However, it sat as an unfinished project for far too long. I was the only one of the 3 who completed it.

Minimakers Miniature Mystery Quilt - This was a mystery quilt made in our Minature Quilt Group I beleve that it may have been a pattern that was a traditional quilt pattern redesigned for a minature quilt.

Faith, Hope, and Love - This quilt was made to commemorate the spirit of those fighting and surviving brain cancer. It is my hope they will draw some strength from these words and ideas.

Between Earth and Sky - This was my first large sized quilt. I wanted to make a quilt which would use the largest number of Margaret Rolfe's paper pieced animals. I saw a quilt made by Flo Burghardt in a book which I used as a basis for this quilt which I designed on EQ-4.

Stars in the Sky - Various stars and other blocks demonstrate techniques used in modern quilting.

Open Sky - I took the convergence idea and added my touch. I like cubes and open sky, I made the cubes from my black and white which I have in everone of my quilts. I also made a small repleca of the lrg convergence and placed it in the lrg one. I could not quilt the small one because of the thickness of the quilt already. The small cubes on the repleca are all made of real fabric.

Fire in the sky - Saw this pattern in a quilt magazine and had to make it. I wasn't sure I'd ever finish it because I ran out of the background fabric...finally found two fat quarters at the AQS show in Des Moines and just enough to get it finished.

Time for Tea on the Veranda - The veranda of this old home was particularly appealing, but not it’s beige color, so taking artistic license, I gave it much more vivid hues. This piece contains commercial cottons. A fusible appliqué technique was used and it was puzzle pieced together with no overlapping layers. It is very heavily machine quilted with each tiny section in matching thread.

Star Burst - The basic star was pieced with commercial fabrics and was adapted from Wild Goose Log Cabin found in Electric Quilt. I used one of the star layouts from Electric Quilt. The plain blocks are filled with my own hand dyed fabric. Free motion machine quilted with cotton varigated thread to depict flames radiating out from the center.

Keukenhof Tulips - This quilt is made entirely of Dutch Reproduction fabrics from Den Haan and Wagenmakers in Amsterdam the Netherlands. I designed this quilt using three distinctive tulip blocks that when set side by side, create an overall star pattern. This quilt is featured in the book, Quilt A Travel Souvenir published by the American Quilter's Society.

Over in the Meadow - I took the Spaghetti for a Crowd mystery quilt class taught by Mary Tendall Etherington and Connie Tesene from Country Threads. Silly me! I decided to make it a 100"x100" quilt. Do you know how many 6" blocks are in a quilt that size? There are 256 plus a pieced border.
