Orange-Green - Originally made as a class sample to show an analogous color scheme. Quilted on a long arm machine using a pebble design. Each pebble is about 3/8". It took about 7 hours to do the quilting.

Paint the Town - I cut many little pieces of fabric and fused them to the background to give a look of broad paintbrush strokes.

By the Light of the Moon - I saw a beautiful picture and got permission to reproduce it in fabric. This was done by creating my own pattern, then dyeing all of my fabrics (except the black). I then did raw edge applique, thread painting and quilting and added crystals for the stars.

Birch Trees - My response to the challenge to make a silver birch quilt for a friend. She now makes silver birch for me in felt. The background is inspired by Gloria Laughman and the foliage by David Taylor.

Pollination - Created from a workshop I attended called 'Playing on the Surface' taught by the fabulous Gloria Loughman.

Spring in Bloom - I took a class from Deb Karasic at North West Quilting Expo in Porland, OR. Sept. 2012.

De Colores - Op Art quilt made with my own hand dyed fabrics.

Notre Dame - This is a wholecloth quilt. I used black homespun and a 6" stencil of 1/4 of the Notre Dame that I enlarged. It is all freemotion stitched using Superior Threads magnifico and fantastico.

This was a very challenging quilt to make, it took 2 years for me to finish. Modifications to the design to make smaller caused a lot of challenges in calculations to the circle. It was machine quilted.

Put a Ring on It - I've wanted to do a double wedding ring adaptation with open spaces for many years, I finally got the chance.

The Thing with Feathers - So there is so much meaning in this quilt - the dark hand. Although it is full of fear, sorrow, pain, etc., it still has hope (feathers and swirls stitched in dark charcoal thread). The hand is reaching for HOPE (the thing with feathers), in it's reaching it is emitting more hope - the quilted feathers. What you can't really see is the feathers, as well as the swirls behind the birds, are a pastel variegated thread (little glimmers of hope). And although the sky is dark and dismal, there is so much movement, the singing.

Gifts from the Sea - Done with Seaside Rose fabrics from Moda.

Seaside Cottage - This was a fun class I took at our local quilt shop. It was my first attempt at fusible raw edge applique and free motion quilting. It is the second quilt I ever made. I gave it to my friend Suzanne for her 60th birthday.

Kelmscott quilt - Ive just finished this quilt. It's taken 5 months to make. I have used 3,000m of Rayon thread. Techniques I have used are machine appliqué and free hand machine quilting.

The Threads That Bind - This is my version of Edyta Sitar's Spool Quilt. I doubled the number of spools and re-designed the border vine to include fucshia, pansies and shamrocks. All the spools were from an exchange here on TQS - The WotRoTT exchange.

Broadway Star Quality - The 2012 IATSE local 764 raffle quilt

Cobblestone Lane - A block of the month from Rosebud's Cottage located in White Bear Lake, MN. This quilt won a blue ribbon in its category at the 2011 Minnesota State Fair.
