Flower Garden - I had two jelly rolls of fabric and was itching to sew something. I liked the quilt pattern "Flower Garden " in the book "Strippin Along" by Donna Kinsey and Linda Rocamontes and adapted my pattern from there, adding black sashing between the rows. "LOVE" how it turned out and not having to match all the seams every two inches made the piecing go a lot faster. I have the quilt spray basted with a black batting and a pretty green paisley back. It is ready for machine quilting so wish me luck.....

Crazy Block of the Month - block 1 - The back ground is machine sewen. All the extras are done by hand, with lots of embellishments. The sashing, border, binding was also add on by machine.

Split Rock Lighthouse - This was made as a challenge to re-create an image from a grey-scale photo. After piecing and machine embellishing I added hand embroidery for the greenery. This one called to me for a frame so I framed it rather than finishing as a wall quilt.
