Let's Play Ball
Name of Maker: Jacquleyn Morris-Smith
Let's Play Ball - My friend wanted twin quilts for her boys. They had just moved into a new house. Her husband is a Chicago Cubs fan and they wanted the theme to depict that team. I found the baseball material here in Tucson, AZ, Could not find Chicago Cub specific materials, so I adapted the solid blocks-made of Moda Marbles- and embroidered Chicago Cub memorbilia on them (such as: Bleacher Bums, Northsiders, the world series wins of more than a century ago, and more). The little guys love their new quilts and aren't jumping on the bed when they are on, so Erika is very happy about that.
