Quilt for Kids charity quilt - This is a quilt I made for 'Quilts for Kids". From start to finish, including the quilting, it only took about 10 hours. Machine pieced and machine quilted on my domestic machine. Just something I did for a good cause.

3D flowers - I bought a Moda jellyroll and started to strip it together. It looked busy so I put the yellow strips between and decided it looked like a trellis. I embroidered the three dimensional flowers which inspired the entirely free motion quilted background.

My Embroidered Rhapsody - Embroidered cutwork allows the black background to show through. This led me to separate the sections and fuse them to the black background so that a black line would show between all sections too.

My First Kaleidoscope - I really let loose on this quilt. No fretting over fabric--I didn't have that much yardage since most of my stash is fat quarters. So, I used what I had. Didn't fuss over what went next to what. Just "trusted" the method of making the quilt. Ad-libbed on the quilting and am pleased with the way it looks. Just sorry I didn't read the directions well enough to see I was suppose to do something unique with the border to be eligible for Ricky's book.

"Scrap-Patch Hearts" - Baby quilt made for Grandaughter. Is made using a variety of colorful fabrics with white on white polkadot background. Completed July 5, 2009. Was machine quilted on a Domestic Machine using stitch in the ditch.

Garden Girl - This quilt was created for the "Keepsake Quilts" Challenge Welcome Spring. The object is use a purchased medley of fabrics to suit the theme of the challenge. She was chosen to be displayed at the first annual AQS Lancaster Quilt Show in March of 2010.

"Play Ball" - This quilt is made using Joshua's favorite colors and featuring Atlanta Braves Fabric, his favorite baseball team. Was Hand quilted using red quilting tread to compliment the front and blend with the back.
