Floating on the Endless River - Used a photo of Austin, Kaleidoscope Kreator, and machine embroidery to create a wall quilt memory of a wonderful day a Wild Water park in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Evolves - A patchwork of fabrics create the background for the shattered circle. The appliquéd circle evolves from an 8 ½” circle, which is fused and appliquéd on top. The prairie points and piano key border continue the color yet also provide an end. Quilted on: home sewing machine Quilted by: designer using “Rainbow Thread” from Superior Threads Patterns: Original design Border pattern: “Follow the Line Quilting Designs” by Mary Covey using the Ribbons pattern. Inspiration: Larkin Van Horn’s shattered circle technique.

Teddy Bear Family - The quilt itself is my original design but the embroidered squares are from the Aunt Martha's Iron-On Transfers. I made this one for my third child, Brooke. Size is approximate.

Scottie Dogs - I made this one for myself. It's too darn cute and exactly my style. Credit goes to Alice Berg, Mary Ellen Von Holt and Sylvia Johnson of Little Quilts. They contributed this pattern to the book. I hope I did it justice.

Frogs & Turtles & Flies, Oh My! - I made this quilt after doing a 4 Patch for "Quilts For Kids". I liked the pattern and it was easy, so why not? I just pulled a bunch of fabrics from my stash and put them together. Although the fabrics aren't from one specific collection I thought they went together well. Picture isn't that great. Just doesn't do the quilt justice.

911-How we felt - Our guild was asked to create memory panels about our feelings on Sept. 11, 2001. I created this panel and donated it to Bill Bace of www.anamericanquilt.com back in 2002. It represents the feelings I had and what I believe most people were feeling. The anniversary brings back all those feelings.

Connie's Christmas table runner - I made this last Christmas. My Mother-in-law saw it as I was making it and fell in love with the bright red and green, so I gave it to her as a present when it was done. It makes for a very nice table setting.

Denise's Christmas Quilt - My sister took this class a long time ago. Quilting was not her "cup of tea". She completed only the very center. so, she sent me all the pieces - she had already cut all the pieces for the entire top. I read through the directions, sorted out all the pieces (like a jigsaw puzzle) and completed it for her. It is not yet quilted. For all I know, it could have put it together incorrectly per the intended (especially the log cabin border), but I don't think it matters at all. It now has my personal touch.

Becky's T quilt - this is a quilt I made from a book by Mimi Shimp. it was fun because I used up a lot of scraps

Jennifer's Purple quilt - this is a quilt that my Mom made. My Mom loves the border fabric - it is her favorite. When her granddaughter came to visit, she let her take her pick of all the quilts. She chose this one. My Mom was a little sad to see it go because she didn't have any more of the border fabric, but she lovingly gave it to her only granddaughter. I made the hawaiian appliqued pillow and my Mom made the pansie pillow.

Christmas Candy - I mde this for my sister as a Christmas present in 2008. I called it Christmas Candy because it reminds me of little pieces of wrapped up candy.
