Fiona's Quilt
Name of Maker: Marsha Miles (Auntie M&M)
Fiona's Quilt - I made this quilt for my grand niece, Fiona. When the kit arrived in the mail I knew it was perfect for her.
Indecison
Name of Maker: Stephanie Swensson
Indecison - This was a 2" strip challenge from our local quilt shop "Quilted Strait" to use up our 2" strips and make a batik quilt. The theory being to use analogous colors and complimentary colors here and there. Since my analogous colors were over quite a range, I couldn't decide which complimentary color to use, so I did all three.
Patience
Name of Maker: Janora
Patience - Made this child's quilt using scraps from other quilts
Toy Stack and Whack
Name of Maker: pamelasb
Toy Stack and Whack - Now hooked on stack and whack technique I found this fabric with large images of toy animals which included giraffes, elephants, lions and hippos. Couldn't resist cutting into it and again found all these wonderful kaleidoscopic designs.
Starry Stack and Whack
Name of Maker: pamelasb
Starry Stack and Whack - The fabric in this quilt was a large print of Egyptian dancers and pharoahs and every cut produced magnificent kaleidoscopic patterns.
Elm Creek Quilt Sampler
Name of Maker: ConnieB
Elm Creek Quilt Sampler - Blocks were all from quilts identified in Jennifer Chiaverini's Elm Creek book series, 140 were from her Sylvia's Bridal Sampler quilt (originally "made" in "The Master Quilter"), the other blocks were from other stories and in her other quilt books, but also made by Agnes in "The Master Quilter" for this quilt (but they never made it to the actual quilt).
white love
Name of Maker: pamelasb
white love - A basic but lovely Irish Chain quilt with pastel coloured blocks. My first and only attempt at hand quilting. Happy with the result though.
Red, white & blues
Name of Maker: janice Simpson
Red, white & blues - I wanted to use up my red, white and blue fabrics in a quilt. This is a variation of a rail fence because not all the strips were cut the same size.
Memories Rose
Name of Maker: Colette Boring
Memories Rose - Only rose left from the bugs. I got a pic before the japanese beetles go to it. Press & Peel fusible applique.

Alesha
Name of Maker: Robin Gold
Alesha - This quilt was made to welcome an 8-year-old girl to our family. She had been fostered by my brother- and sister-in-law for two years, but her adoption by them was just final in November. I thought she deserved a quilt with her new initials on it.

Harvest Time
Autumn Mini
Name of Maker: ncquilter1954
Autumn Mini - This quilt was made from a pattern offered on the Carol Doak yahoo group.
Night and Day Log Cabin
Name of Maker: ncquilter1954
Night and Day Log Cabin - My mini group decided to do a group project. Each person used the same fabric, but made 12 blocks to exchange. I decided to do the log cabin, and liked the block so much I made enough extra for a quilt for myself.
Leave Me Alone and Let Me Quilt
Name of Maker: ncquilter1954
Leave Me Alone and Let Me Quilt - I love leaves. This quilt is made of leaf fabric. My dogs were bothering me the whole time I worked on it, so that's how it got it's name.

Goose Feathers - This is a paper pieced pattern by Judy Niemeyer
Oh Christmas Trees
Name of Maker: Alice Gann Kaspar
Oh Christmas Trees - This was my first attempt at applique.
Gilded Maple Leaf
Name of Maker: Alice Gann Kaspar
Gilded Maple Leaf - This wall hanging was made from scraps from a friend's quilt. I practiced machine quilting with gold metallic thread at his suggestion. It makes the quilt!
