Vikki, Libby & Liz - I was encouraged to try making a contemporary quilt by my class teacher Liz Smithbone. This is a practice quilt inspired by Vicki Pignatelli's curved piecing technique and Libby Lehman's threadplay ribbon quilting.

Bargello in the round - A class taken at a local quilt store on doing Baregllo in the round. It was fun. You get two out of one pattern.

Girly Pinks for a little sweetie - This was made for the first grandaughter of my dear friend Annette who for a number of years has been there for me in many many ways and who I will always be grateful for her kindness.

Betty Boop I Loves - I made this for my grandaughter who is a Betty Boop fan, bought the fabic from a USA web site called e-quilter and had the material sent to me in Australia.

Mix and Match Mini Quilt - I made this for a friends first child.

BOM 2009 For Sue - This is the 2009 BOM finished January 12, 2010. This was a year long project that was fun to do, although at times I hated the quilt and my workmanship. I made so many mistakes in both the blocks and the quilting, that I'm surprised that it looks as well as it does.

Forever Blooming - I took an Applique class with Megan Johnson at FabricLand in NJ and "finally" finished hand quilting this wall hanging... because some of my PTQ guild members said... Oh you must HAND quilt this after the hand applique you did.... So, I did, and I'm not sorry.. but it did take a L-O-N-G time.

Beyond Color Purple - Beyond Color Purple is a machine embroidered Queen Size Quilt with a center medallion surrounded by 16 blocks separated by sashing and finished with a large border.

Spring - Table Runner

English Garden - This was a 10 month block of the month. Most applique blocks were from Eleanor Burns, the rest from Janna L. Sheppard and Owens and Wilens.

Oriental Ribbon Surprise - This quilt contains many oriental fabrics. I made it as part of a $5.00 quilt class. The class took 6 months. The overall design wasn't clear until about the fourth month.

Carey's Quilt - I made this quilt as a wedding present for my daughter, Carey. I love Marsha McCloskey's feathered star blocks but was unsure my piecing skills were up to it. I was very proud of the results. Catherine Hanna of The Quilted Garden in Surrey, BC did a magnificent job of quilting on her long arm. My daughter loves her quilt.

Ann's Z Star - This quilt was my first experience with paper piecing.

Carpenter's Star - Sofa quilt made for my sister. I chose the pattern because it was made with no "y" seams.

Winter Aspens: Aspen Series #2 - My hand-painted fabrics which I used in the background just called out for an aspen forest in the winter.

Georgia's Wedding - Made this quilt for my sister-in-law's wedding. First wholecloth quilt. Enjoyed making this one and thought it turned out well.
