Marcella
Name of Maker: Jo Van Loo
Marcella - Marcella is a portrait of a woman, named for her hair style.
Aurora Alberta
Name of Maker: Smoky
Aurora Alberta - Inspired by a class on the one-block wonder technique for hexagons, and a beautiful piece of oriental print, this graphic version gives me the feel of a forested area, with the night sky and northern lights of Alberta.
Closeup
Name of Maker: Smoky
Closeup - Here is just a touch of the threadplay that goes into the Bigfork quilts that I love doing. Thanks Toni!
Serengeti
Name of Maker: Smoky
Serengeti - Who is the king of the jungle? This one just HAD to have more thread play, stuffing (not trapunto) and beadwork.
Tiger
Name of Maker: Smoky
Tiger - Another of Bigfork patterns just HAD to be made. Again, more thread play and stuffing for a 3D effect has been done.
Come into my flower garden

Embroidered Wall Flowers - Fused applique with dec stitching. Machine embroidery embellished. Machine quilted on HQ sitdown machine.
I Hope They Like Blue
Name of Maker: Judy Rittmeyer
I Hope They Like Blue - This quilt was designed in EQ 5 by a member of my guild. We made it in red and white as a raffle quilt for the church where we meet. I have made a smaller version in blue and white as a wedding gift for a young woman I have know since she was a wee baby and whose grandparents are our closest friends.
Hopscotch in Pink
Name of Maker: Nancy Axmacher
Hopscotch in Pink - Alex's one block quilt design with a modern twist. Fabrics were pinks and greens selected to fit in a "tween" room. Thank you Alex!!!
Heavenly Stars
Name of Maker: Sandra Weber
Heavenly Stars - I did this in civil war reproductions. The pattern is very easy, really foolproof. It uses a fat quarter for each block plus a background fabric. I made this for my neighbor who is a carpenter and good friend. Since my husband passed away, I tell him I have him on retainer. He is very good about helping me out when needed. I made this for him after he buried my beloved Aussie dog Millie who died of cancer. Pictured on his antique bed.
Wacky Batiks
Name of Maker: Sandra Weber
Wacky Batiks - This sampler was a block of the month. The fabrics were so bright and wild, I thought that a "wacky" setting was appropriate. I had fun quilting the ferns in the sashing and borders. These colors were outside my comfort zone, but I like the result.
Bright Stars
Name of Maker: Sandra Weber
Bright Stars - I made this quilt for my 14 year old stepgranddaughter, who likes bright fabrics. A fun, fast quilt to make.
Roll On
Name of Maker: Sandra Weber
Roll On - I made this for my "horse friends" Les and Carol Williams. I used batiks in southwestern colors, and rotated each block a quarter turn to give the illusion of movement. (I am not so sure that I achieved that.:))
Baby quilt for Emily
Name of Maker: Kathy Skelton
Baby quilt for Emily - My first attempt at using inks and free motion. Made for my cousins little girl.
A Touch Of Spring
Name of Maker: Judy Niemeyer & Cindi McCracken
A Touch Of Spring - I quilted this for Judy Niemeyer for 2008 Fall Market.
9-Patch Daiwabo
Name of Maker: Vicki L. Ibison
9-Patch Daiwabo - I love the Japanese Daiwabo fabrics & made a scrappy quilt so I could play with most of the ones I've collected.
Ring Toss
Name of Maker: Sheryl Mycroft of Random Threadz
Ring Toss - Sheryl designed & pieced this quilt for "Bold Over Batiks" for Spring Quilt Market 2006.
Stars & Stripes Forever
Name of Maker: Vicki L. Ibison
Stars & Stripes Forever - I made this wallhanging for my brother, Master Chief William Tyrrell in honor of his 30 years he served in the United States Navy. It won 1st place (Viewers' Choice) at the Flathead Quilt Show 2003.
Wedding Star
Name of Maker: Judy Niemeyer & Cindi McCraken
Wedding Star - Judy brought this pattern back in 2009 as she updated the piecing to make it easier. I did the quilting for her on my longarm.
Pure Ecstasy A.K.A. Come Again
Name of Maker: Vicki L. Ibison
Pure Ecstasy A.K.A. Come Again - I took Judy B. Dales curved piecing class at the Quilt Gallery in Kalispell, MT. We had to design our own pattern & then piece it using Judy's method. I also added trapunto behind the ribbons.
