Crazy Curves in Batiks - Done in a variety of batiks purchased at Hancocks of Paducah. Quilted on a Gammill Statler Stitcher using an edge-to-edge design and doing an inside trim and different motif in random circles to accentuate them.

Tequila Sunrise - I used Judy B Dales book "Curves in Motion quilts and techniqes" to design this quilt. I did not use her technique of 1/4" seams, I instead used Bonder web and then machine stitch over the edges.

A round the garden - Made the blocks in 1993 in a class on Balitmore quilts. Designed the border and put the quilt together in 2004. The border applique is machine done.

The Shirts Off My Back - Nick's mom hired me to make this quilt using his tshirts for his 17th birthday. Thankfully she gave me plenty of time and it took a lot longer than I expected! His birthday is on Wednesday and I hope he is thrilled!! He is a friend of my son's and visited with us in Sept 2008. He knew I was making the quilt but maybe has forgotten by now. His mom said he is the kid that enjoys and remembers all the memories so I think this quilt will make him happy! It is extra-long twin for his future dorm room.

Southwestern Table Runner & Placemats - Purchased fabric for table runner when I saw the project but didn't even start it until 2009 and finished it this year. The salmon main print included fabric I intended for placemats years ago to match the window valances I made and used in my dining room. I reused the valance fabric for the backing on this project.

California Bound - A Holstein Cow driving a late modle cheve to California. The idea came from California Milk Advisory Board line of Adds where California Cows are happy Cows.

Journey to Independence - The students at MLC, which educates handicapped young adults to live independently, made the blocks for this quilt, which brought $3,400 at the school's annual fundraiser.
