Kalle - I made this quilted pillow case for my sister-in-law to give to a young autistic boy she knows. We make it very stable by zig zaging around every block. We added the embrodery for texture and pictures of Kalle and my sister-in-law.

Indiana Rose - This was my second quilt. My teacher told me to just keep making beautiful blocks, and not to worry about the color so much. I was so proud of the results. Hand applique, with crocheted roses in the centers.

Michael's Quilt - This was my first 'big' quilt. I didn't know what I was getting into, but liked the pattern. My son didn't want a 'traditional' patchwork or 'country' coloured quilts. This one is traditionally in bright colours and black background, but I changed to these warmer colours for my son; these are his colours.

Back of "Crazy pies quilt" - This is the back of the quilt I designed called "Cazy Pies", I thought it would be a good idea for game day to have the team colours available for display.

Crazy pies - My dear friend is totally mad about her australian football team the "Collingwood Magpies". tha back of the quilt is an image of the black and whites stripes of thier guernsy, The front has an applique magpie bird which is the mascot. The rest of the quilt is crazy patch of pie charts and random shapes to represent how crazy she is for her team. I loved making it so much. I purposely made no pattern, I just let the design unfold, I have never attemped this before and it was really fun.
