Winter - Third quilt of my seasons series "For Everything There is a Season". Bought the fabric in 06 with intent of making this quilt eventually. Jan 07 terrible ice storm here and the city shut down so I quilted away and ifnished it that week.

Stars in the Cabin - A WIP for my friend Emmas 40th. Its 'family' name is 'Emma's Miss Doctors 40 Twice Quilt', as my mum sent her a card addressed to 'Miss Doctor' E Rawson as she didn't know which title to use and Emma will probably be 41 by the time its finished, hence the 40 twice bit!

A cordon quilt - It is made of a lot of different batiks and silk fabrics. First I made a pattern. I used fusible web. Then cut that part in pieces. Embellished wit different satin stitches in many different colors.
The Simple Country Life

The Simple Country Life - This was the class project we each made in the beginning Nancy Prince Thread Painting class that I attended in May of 2010 here in Mesa, AZ. The background and house were pre-printed on fabrics, and we appliqued the house onto the backgrounds. The rest of the elements, like the trees, shrubs and forsythia we thread painted. Then I added the borders and quilted mine.

Black and White Flower Garden - I used the pattern of the book, but I changed a few flowers, because I liked these more. It is made of all kinds of different black and white fabrics and reds for the flowers. I used quiltpatterns I liked.

There was the long search for the fabrics giving me the colour tones needed, quilting in-between family life commitments and deciding to hand quilt this king-sized quilt top stretched fully across a traditional wooden frame made by a friend. Patience always has its rewards and it now hangs on a very large wall in our shome.

The Four Seasons - This quilt is made of many dif types of fabric. It is 60x78 and also has lots of embroidary. Appliqued on a landscape background. This quilt was done in 4 trips of 18x54 inches, it took 16 month to complete
Eagle in Blue

Eagle in Blue - This quilt is 48" square, done in 100% cotton fabrics from my stash. Thread used to quilt: Threadart's silver metallic on the top, Superior's So-Fine in the bobbin. Batting is 80/20 cotton poly. This is for a wall hanging. I am in process of increasing the size to fit a king size bed & will do that pattern in Autum colors. Pattern is a bit challenging, not for those new to quilting/sewing. I love the result of this pattern, though my color choices were haphazzard..this is a test for the larger quilt. Still I love the results!
