Amish American - i saw a version of this quilt and always wanted to make one. then i found instructions for the off set log cabin block in a magazine, and directions by Mary Ellen Hopkins. it is made with patriotic strips and being sent to the Soldier's Angels backpack group. they provide BLankets of Hope to wounded soldiers evacuated to Germany from war zones.

Four Seasons - This was a "Saturday Sampler" from Great American Quilt Factory in Denver, CO. It took me a couple of years to finish it, but I finally made it! All four corners are appliqued; the rest of the quilt is pieced.
