Angel Wings
Name of Maker: Kelly Kreft
Angel Wings - This was finished the day before professional photos were taken. After Vicki took the photos, I gave the quilt to her for her newborn photography business.
Grandma's Gifts
Name of Maker: Diane Beckler
Grandma's Gifts - I designed and created this quilt to submit to a quilt challenge.
Little Posies
Name of Maker: Diane Beckler
Little Posies - This quilt is a mix of wool and cotton. Hand appliqued and machine quilted.
Granny's Bonsaii Quilt
Name of Maker: Karen M
Granny's Bonsaii Quilt - I made this quilt for my mum the year before she died. She wanted a quilt with bonsaii in it and I couldn't find a pattern at the time so I adapted a printed pattern. I made up the centre block myself. The tree's leaves are all confetti pieces, sewn down with washable stabiliser. Mum also liked the stack'n wack method (Bethany Reynolds) so I added some blocks in one of the borders. All machine-quilted.
Amy's Fall Table Runner
Name of Maker: Melynda Holtsberry
Amy's Fall Table Runner - Made totally from stash scraps in fall colors to go with my daughter's dining room. I added an extra set of blocks for an extra long table. I quilted the top as advised in the pattern directions and used variegated thread.
Ashley's Table Runner
Name of Maker: Melynda Holtsberry
Ashley's Table Runner - I used scraps including those left from Ashley's graduation quilt and other bright fabrics for a table runner for her new apartment. The graduation quilt is in sight on the back of her sofa. I also made four coasters that were included with the pattern. To say the least, the table runner doesn't show any resemblance to the blue and white snowman prints in the original design. Free motion quilting included several leaf designs.
Conerstones and Crevises
Name of Maker: Dearlena
Conerstones and Crevises - Pattern is a courthouse steps block. The setting corner and side blocks were calculated with correct formulas to make the setting blocks. Using a Hoffman fall fat quater bundle this was a color challenge. Entered in The Puyallup Valley Log Cabin Challenge July 2010 just for fun.
4th of July
Name of Maker: Kim Jacobs
4th of July
Nolan's ABC Quilt
Name of Maker: Madeleine Trainor
Nolan's ABC Quilt - For our first grandchild. So much fun choosing the fabrics and making the blocks. A good way for the baby to learn his quilt blocks (ha, ha). Some are more obvious than others so I listed them on the back.
Life Lessons
Name of Maker: Leslie Christensen
Life Lessons - Machine pieced and hand quilted on a 100+ year old frame. This is my first time quilting on a large frame. Many lessons learned in the making of this quilt.
Herzliches Sudoku
Name of Maker: Steffi Wiessner
Herzliches Sudoku - 9 Nine-Patches forming a Sudoku
Sarah's Bridal Shower Quilt
Name of Maker: JoAnn H Salvatore
Sarah's Bridal Shower Quilt - I made this quilt for my daughter's best friend for her bridal shower. She absolutely loved it!
Name of Maker: Wilma Moss
"Spin Out" - Our guild had a workshop in which we learned to make a "cheater" monkey wrench block. I designed this setting so my quilt would be different from the others. Also it made it large enough for a king-sized bed.
Name of Maker: Wilma Moss
"Stars for a New Day" - My version of the Block of the month 2009. I used fabrics from my stash, starting with the purple paisley and building out from that with colors from the paisley and others that seemed to "play" together.
A Gift for Amy & Jim
Name of Maker: Janet Mott
A Gift for Amy & Jim - I designed this table runner as a gift for a friend's mountain house which is surrounded by aspen trees. The fabric is what makes this very simple design. The hand dyed fabrics are actually from Ricky Tims! I had been holding on to the fabric for a bigger project that I have stewing in mind but decided to part with a little for this special gift. The gradations in color in the leaves make this simple table runner something out of the ordinary. This is a lesson that I plan to apply to future projects!
Melissa's Quilt
Name of Maker: Janet Mott
Melissa's Quilt - This tumbling block pattern utilizes a strip piecing method.
Grande Iced Mocha
Name of Maker: greengables65
Grande Iced Mocha - This is my version of the Quilt Show Block of the Month 2009, Stars for a New Day, designed by Sue Harmon. It hardly made a dent in my stash of neutral scraps!
Lions and tigers

Name of Maker: Susan Lawson
Lions and Tigers - A very good friend of mine was pregnant with twins and I wanted to make something special for her babies. This is the end result. One quilt with a tiger and one with a lion center.
