Horse Happy - This was made as a Christmas gift. Each circle has a horse quilted in it. It is a quilt as you go project, so the horse shows on both sides.
Oh My Stars - Using Sue Garman's design and instructions for 2009 BOM, I adapted this to my own scrappy combination of browns, beiges, peach, greens and blues.
Amanda's Graduation Quilt - Amanda gave me the colors of her first apartment and we found this pattern that would highlight those colors. This was made as a college graduation gift.
Black Leaves - I found the black fabric with leaves and fell in love with it. I found a pattern that would showcase this fabric and include the colors in my bedroom.
Dick & Ver's 50th Anniversary Quilt - Used pictures of Dick & Ver along with their children's wedding pictures and pictures of their Grandchildren. Gave to them on their 50th wedding anniversary.
November Lotto Block 2009 - In Grangeville ID at Melinda's Fabrics we do a lotto block every month and have a drawing, I won 27 blocks in November 2009. Completed the quilt in 2010 and had Jody Hoogland quilt it for me.
Star for Valor - I made this quilt for the Village Quilter's 2009 Challenge which was for Quilts of Valor. The theme was stars and each challenge participant was given a piece of gold fabric that had to be used in the quilt in some place. I selected this pattern for this quilt because my husband and my father-in-law had each won bronze stars (now my son has one, too).
A Quilt for Gabrielle - This quilt was made for my first grandchild, who was born in July 2010. It's a perfect size for a little one with bright colors. The fabrics are Aunt Grace reproductions, some of the patterns being similar to ones that were in a quilt my grandmother made for me.
