Purple Strippy - I gave this quilt to my sister-in-law Pauline, for her 60th birthday. This was a free pattern from the internet at www.equilters.com by someone called Susan. I used recycled sheets of A4 paper as foundation paper. The quilt went together really fast, and turned out rather nice.

Tropical Crush - I bought Kaffe Fassett's book Quilts in the Sun to make Tropical Frothy, but for some unknown reason I decided to put the blocks together in rows, rather than diamond shapes, which changed the whole look of the quilt, but I still like it.

Indian Harvest Runner - This quilt on the cover of the Oct. 2010 Quilters World caught my eye. On vacation in Sep.'10 I purchased the batik fabrics. I worked on the quilt top while recuperating from total knee replacement surgery in March/April 2011. The quilting was completed in Nov. 2011 just in time for Thanksgiving!
