Santa's Christmas
Name of Maker: Patti Bustamante
Santa's Christmas - The center blocks are Santa BOM (16") from Sister's Quilt Shop & the other big blocks are BOM from Greenbaum's uilted Forest and I adapted the little pieced blocks to fill in the spaces. This is the first King Size quilt I made and also the first time I used nylon thread for the quilting. I love the way this has turned out, but I am willing to part with it. It is the experience of making it and using different techniques that make it so I will never forget it.
Winding Ways Wall quilt
Name of Maker: Candace Door
Winding Ways Wall quilt - I made this quilt using Accuquilt's Winding Ways GO die. It was started at the GO retreat in Fremont NE. Instead of buying a kit I chose my own fabrics. It was a challenge putting the design together and then keeping the block pieces organized. Fun though!
English Paper Piecing sampler

English Paper Piecing sampler - A sample to experiment with english paper piecing to see how far I could push the technique, and to record it for a tutorial to show others that there is more to EPP than just hexagons
Dog Rose
Name of Maker: PosyP
Dog Rose - Based on the colours found in a dogrose flower it is the reverse side to Too Loud Man. The quilting was designed from the layout of the seams on this side using a quadrant of a circle. They were started in 2008 and finally finished in 2013.
Too Loud Man
Name of Maker: PosyP
Too Loud Man - Started with the frogs, then looked for other fabrics to work with them. Layout dictated by how many of each piece I could cut from the yardage available, and a lot of hours with graph paper & coloured pencils
Go Cowboys
Name of Maker: Patricia Cadena
Go Cowboys - I made this for a grandfather who wanted it for a new grandson who was going to be named Miles. This is raw edge applique.
Love my Boots
Name of Maker: Patricia Cadena
Love my Boots - We had a fat quarter exchange. This is what I made. It's raw edge applique.
Best Buddies
Name of Maker: Carol Deards
Best Buddies - This quilt presented major challenges in getting the right fabric to reflect the coloration of the dogs. The more black dog had brown hightlights, and The brindle's coloration just didn't match any fabrics I could find in terms of color and texture until a lucky find in batiks at a quilt store brought the design together.

purple morning glorys
Name of Maker: Dorothy Davis
purple morning glorys - I made this top in about 1980 and put it away I quit quilting until about 1999 when after my husbands death I started again. I started to quilt the quilt by hand but my hands wouldnt let me do so, so I took all the quilting out and took it to a long arm quilter. It has some boo boos but I still love the colors and the quilting is fantastic. My grand daughter who is going to get the quilt loves it.It was my first attempt to applique a large whole quilt.

Mom's Birds
Name of Maker: Karen Snedeker
Mom's Birds - This started with the center panel that I knew my Mom would love. Although not really trapunto, it has that feel as the birds and main elements such as flowers, leaves, tree, fence are outline quilted only. The rest is stippled with various size stitching. Binding was from my stash and has all main colors in tiny flowers. Mom was happy with it, so I am too!
