See How the Flowers Grow - I made three sizes of a block used in my guild's exchange challenge, added many 3D elements, tiny flowers, buttons, fibers, etc. The setting is a wacky setting of my own.
Equality - This is my latest pattern - and I'm so pleased how it turned out. It was posted on Facebook and went viral! Patterns are now available in Minnesota at Old Alley Quilt Shop in Sherburn, Firefly Quilt Shop and River City Quilts in Mankato; and in Iowa at Red-Roxie Quilt Company in Decorah and The Wooden Thimble in Estherville.
Sedona Inspiration - This hand appliqued quilt was inspired by the beautiful colors of Sedona, AZ. The pattern was purchased from Garden City Gateworks at the Lancaster Quilt Show. I machine quilted the quilt with a longarm.
Jan's Fancy - This quilt was inspired by Ricky's video in an earlier Quilt Show Episode. I wanted to do a modern variation of a traditional quilt for a guest bedroom. The quilt is made from hand-dyed fabrics that give the quilt a wonderful feeling of texture. I love the bold variation in color. Unfortunately, the picture does not do justice to the striking colors in the quilt.
Princess Feathers - I had a beautiful April Cornel Fabric with fruit on it. We were moving so wanted to make a quilt for my new kitchen. I used some orphen blocks I had, some Red Work from my mothers trunk.
Delectable Mountains - I loved this quilt from when I first saw it and had it in my binder of quilts Nana wants to make. So when graduation drew close for Rebekah she chose this one. And she ended up on the beautiful campus of Covenant College on Lookout Mountain in Georgia.
Posies - I saw this and started collecting poka dots. When Monica was about graduate from Highschool, I had her look in my note book of quilts Nana wants to make in her lifetime and she picked this one.
Lattice - This quilt was made for my son who is going to purchase a surf shack. His great love is the ocean, diving surfing, swimming. I won the fabric at a Quilt Show. It spoke water, ocean to me lovely blues and greens.
Im Not From Conway - This was my first applique blocks. I started with Mimi Detrich and needed more blocks for this setting so added some Margarite Daugherty blocks from Little Brown Bird and the center is a Robert Calaham design from McCalls Magazine
Scrappy Repro - Love to make, and the look of, pinwheel blocks. When arranging on design wall, decided I wanted a break in the pattern so added the center border.

Show and Tell - This is a diptych created by two friends. Sharon Wiley Hightower created the left half and Mary Pavlovich created the right half. The design is based on observation and photos of Show and Tell at our quilt guild, our most popular activity.

Phantasmagoria: a diptych - A diptych created by two friends. The left side was created by Mary Pavlovich and the right side by Sharon Wiley Hightower as an informal challenge. We generally agreed on an outline and theme, and shared fabrics. It was a magical experience when we shared the first time!
Drifting in the Wind - This hanging was designed as a metaphor for aging--dandelion seeds and parachutes drifting away in the wind to land and sprout anew.
