April Showers Bring May Flowers - This was made as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. She chose all the batik fabrics and I surprised her with the final design. I used Edyta's umbrella pattern, but I added sashing and appliqué flowers in the sashing corners.

hexie star - This miniature quilt was made with 1/4 inch hexagons....English paper piecing. a friend gave me a bag of 2 inch cut squares of old feed sacks....I used them to make this quilt ..the background is un bleached muslin. The frame measures 15 inches by 15 inches.
