Chocolate at Christmas
Name of Maker: Nancy Myers
Chocolate at Christmas - I used the "Stack N Whack" technique to form the stars and the setting idea came from "Circle of Nine" book. My daughter named the quilt after taking this photo.
9-Patch
Name of Maker: Mathew Bourbon
9-Patch - This is my very first quilt that I have made, this is the top and still unfinished.
$5 Block of the Month
Name of Maker: Kathryn
$5 Block of the Month - This pattern is not shown on Under the Garden Moon's website. The Fabric Patch did this as a $5 Block of the Month and used this pattern. She provided part of the pattern each month, we provided our own fabric. Many people did not like the 5-1/2 inch squares. I didn't mind at all. I would have liked to have been guided a bit on fabric selection as I would have liked a bit more Kansas Troubles type of fabrics, but these brights turned out great.
Vintage Tiles Revisited
Name of Maker: Melba Diamond
Vintage Tiles Revisited - Purchased BOM pattern and kit from Quilting by the Bay. Long arm machine quilted with a variety of background designs.

Garden Friends - A friend of mine made this and I knew I wanted to make it. I have the perfect wall space to hang it. It was quite easy to make and it turned out so darn cute!

Radioactive Love
All Things Texas
Name of Maker: Leann McClain
All Things Texas - The center panel is a printed Texas design. The side panels are representative of the windmills and wildflowers of Texas. Quilted to make the Texas icons pop in 3D, this quilt is meant to be a wall hanging and was a thank you gift for a neighbor.
Connected
Name of Maker: Carol Moellers
Connected - This little quilt is my contribution to the IQA Silent Auction. I used Robert Kaufman Roll-Ups and a AccuQuilt Equilaterial triangle die to cut all the 800+ triangles. If you look closely you can see all the little triangles. The Roll-Ups had the perfect color pallet to select from. It was fun playing with value to give this quilt the 3-D illusion. This quilt has been also enter in AccuQuilt Quilter's Spotlight Contest..... https://www.accuquilt.com/spotlight/connected.html If you like it, click on the I heart it button. As most of you know all my quilts have a meaning that surrounds them. This one is to symbolize the intermingling of artist and quilters and how we become connected with interacting with one another. To me quilting is an expressive outlet, so I choose a bright, vibrant color pallet to express the feelings one gets when you meet someone special. That feeling that electrifies and inspires you to step out of your box.
Baby it's Cold Outside Bedrunner
Name of Maker: Tammy Morel (MorelCabinCreations)
Baby it's Cold Outside Bedrunner - A primitive style bed runner made for these cold Canadian winters, and of course as a decor item! Nothing warms up a place like primitive style, with it's rich colors and black accents. www.morelcabincreations.com
Sam

Sam

Name of Maker: Wendy Bain
Sam - I met Sue at the Houston show shortly after my dog died. She had patterns of other black labs, but they didn't say "Sam" to me. From photos, Sue designed the Sam pattern, and as soon as I opened it, I could see MY dog! The quilting is a scribbling technique that is super fast and easy. Sue has become a good friend and she has treated me to several one-on-one classes in her studio.

Name of Maker: J. Cordier, A. Joubert and B. van Jaarsveldt
Tropicana - Our world through an array of tropical colours made by three quilting friends. Group Quilt entered into South African National Quilt Festival 2013.

Fire on the Mountain
Name of Maker: Jill Van Harlingen
Fire on the Mountain - The design is from the video of Libby Lehman presented on TQS. I took a class from Libby in 1993 to learn her technique. Libby had changed her approach from using a zigzag to a straight stitch method with the results being very simular.
