Chosen
Name of Maker: Jan Reed
Chosen - I have had a lifelong love of horses, and the Arabian breed I find to be the most compelling of all in their beauty and heart. A Bedouin myth states that this horse was created out of a sandstorm as a gift from Allah to those nomadic people. Over 175 pieces of fused, raw edge appliqué, fabric inks, paints, colored pencils, and 50+ hours of hand beadwork, crystals and shisha mirrors helped bring this event to life.
