For Annika - Design was a mystery quilt. First large quilt I'd completed. Made for our former foreign exchange student who loves green!

The Gift - Made in a class. Didn't quite turn out as I'd hoped, but my friend sure loves it!

A Different Direction - This quilt presented many challenges for me, from the Judy Mathieson mariner’s compass block to the other three attempts at finishing the quilt. I completed a whole other quilt from the blocks I tried out on this one. It was exhibited at the AQS Nashville show and has been accepted into the New Quilts of Northern California exhibit which will be at PIQF in the Fall.

Autumn on the Village Green - Made for the Rebecca Barker Challenge at the LaConner Quilt Museum, debuted Early 2005. Inspired by her notecard using the maple leaf block, which shows a New England white-steepled church.

The Tide is Hire - Using a piecing technique learned from Dianne Hire, I made this quilt for (and it got into!) the Viking Masterpieces Exhibit "Imagine That." Pieced, Applique, beading, machine quilting.

Haleakala Sunrise - I have always loved Hawaiian style patterns. This is my first published pattern, and I still love it.

Gone With The Worm - This quilt design was based on a toy rubber caterpillar that belonged to my boys when they were little.

Many Moons Ago - I wanted to try my hand at dropped shadows, and the whole piece background fabric inspired the "moons."

The Eye Guy - This quilt hung in the reception area of my husband's office before he retired last year. He was an optometrist.

"My Life.........So Far" - Made as a Christmas gift for my son, Randy Bowlsby, as a memory quilt -- it contains embellishments representing his marriage, his sons, his graduation from college, his music experiences, paths around Trinity County, CA, where he learned to ride his motorcycle -- and motorcycle embellishments. It also contains Eagle Scout memorabilia, my mother's pins from his Scouting years, and football embellishments from when he played high school football. He now is a Harley owner and rides around central California, sometimes with the Patriot Riders who accompany the families to the funerals of our fallen soldiers from Iraq and Afghanistan.

Winter Greetings - needle turn applique

Piano Man - I made this for my father-in law, who was an excellent pianist, our "piano man." He was legally blind and needed the graphics to be BIG!! He loved it.

Chantabientot - Flannel prints completely Caveman pieced. The back is 4 inch squares with a picture of Katie competing in synchronized swimming. Katie has the quilt with her at Truman State University.

For Clara - In Memory of my Mother - Original wholecloth designed in a class with Karen McTavish at the Machine Quilters Exposition in Machester, NH. Quilting completed September 2006.

DigiBobbE 1 - This quilt was created using designs from my DigiBobbE 1 collection "Ornamental Swirls". DigiBobbE is digitized bobbin embroidery which is a little different from traditional machine embroidery - it's done upside down with the Candlelight Yarn in the bobbin.
