Steppin' Out - Challenge at the Ogallala Quilt Show. The four fabrics provided were the black & white stripe (in the "wall"), the black & white web (in the juke box), the black and white lettering (center of jukebox, and back side for the window lettering), and a red, black, gray, and white fabric with all sorts of circles (used in edges and top of juke box, her shoes, and her petticoat, which you can't see). We were only allowed to add four fabrics, so I added the blue frame, her skin, the window and binding (a gradated fabric), and the red felt in her skirt. I made her sweater and socks out of yarn, and I wove the floor out of ribbons. This quilt kept asking for embellishments, and I had so much fun creating it!
