Surfer Girl Challenge quilt - My quilt club had a challenge where we were each given a small paper lunch bag with an assortment of fabrics. There were flannel, cotton, woven, canvas, minkee and various prom dress fabrics. It was a fun challenge trying to come up with something. I used my love of surfing as my inspiration.

American Flag for "My Girl" - State names embroidered on 50 stars. "My Girl" on front, the lyrics to "My Girl" are machine embroidered on the back. This quilt was made for a friend's granddaughter. I got the idea from a prize winning quilt from a DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) American Memory quilt. I made up the measurements so was surprised that it all come together so well.
