The Sea & MY Son - Using 18 fabrics with colors and patterns evoking sea plants, water, sand, sunny as well as stormy skies, I made this for my son who lives on Cape Cod.
Ginger Lilly - This was a challenge quilt titled "A Few of My Favorite Things". I used black cotton and tied it up in tie dye fashon and dipped it in bleach to get the black on brown. Then I cut the dyed fabric into squares and reassembled. I used color inks to help the dog and cat come out and outlined them with gold thread. Added embellishments. Sashing was material we had to use.
Miranda and Me - It is a personal photo quilt of Miranda's childhood to present. The center is a bandana Miranda designed. In the quilting I monogramed that the quilt was quilted for Miranda Lambert and dated.
Diffussion of the Son(Sun) - This was my first wall hanging and handquilting. I made it in memory of my son Chris who was killed in a car wreck July 4 2001. It hangs in my sewing room and will always be a comforting reminder of his creativity through my hands.
Circle Around - My virsion of a Hawaiian style quilt. Four dog and cat figures machine appliqued with echo quilting around each design. The four designs were tied together with red sashing.
Criters dancin in the moon light - I saw this done in MI at a quilt show. I don't know the name of the lady that did it, but I loved the fabrics she chose for the sashing and border and knew I had to do one !
