Forest Friends - Quilt made for my guest room and entered into the Alpine Quilt Show 2005. Won 3rd place for Quilt Challenge: "A Day in the Country."

Kachinas - This beautiful quilt was made for my husband's best friend Mike, an avid collector of native american art work. It was entered in the San Diego Quilt Show in 2006.

Wedding Windows - Quilt made for my niece for her wedding quilt.

Best Friends - This quilt was made for my dear friend Terri. It was entered into the San Diego Quilt Show in 2006. Appliqués were copied from famous appliqué designers such as Lynda Milligan and Nancy Smith.

The Anchor Holds In Spite of the Storm - Made from a top which was about all my neice, Carla Crane could save from Hurricane Katrina's homewrecking. Blocks were made and signed by many relatives, some now gone. The top was made in the 1980's and quilted in 2007. The label was embrodiered on a peice of cotton slip from my Mom, (her grandmother) who passed away 2 years ago.

"Before Katrina" - Made from photos I made of Pascagoula, Ms. 1 month to the day before Hurricane Katrina with the intent of "one day" turning them into a pictorial quilt. Some of the places no longer exisst. It was a strange and eerie feeling working on this after seeing first hand all of the devestation. I have been asked to make a second edition of this quilt.

Jacque Cousteau's Little Secret - Based on Ricky Tim's Convergence quilts, I created this quilt, and then had fun playing with fish applique, bead embellishments and "script" quilting in the black border which tells the story of mermaids.

Coffee with Friends - The Halton Hills Quilters' Guild BOM theme was coffee and tea so I used a few of those blocks, added a couple of others adapted from Nancy Johnson-Srebro's Block Magic and Block Magic, too! books and created a large coffee mug wallhanging.

Woman and Elements Revolve - With one limb in each of the 4 elements ... earth, air, water, and fire ... Woman both controls and is controlled by them.

Through the Eyes of Eternal Youth - A fiber art collage based on a quotation from the book, "West with the Night" by Beryl Markham ... "at that age, few things can provoke more wonderment than a mirror."

Flying Geese - I thought I would never get enough geese made for this quilt...but patience does win in the end. Love the fabric and the border...what a fun quilt.

Nifety Nine Patch - This was a retreat quilt in Oregon and I love all the browns,,love earth tones and love the blocks. This is one of my favorite quilts.

Dream Catcher - Everyone needs atleast one wild and crazy quilt and this is mine.. All Moda flannel.

Bears in the Woods - This was my first big quilt and I took it to my first retreat in Klamath Falls, Oregon. What a lot of fun that was...wonderful people.

Sun Dance - Phil Beaver taught me a method of painting my own fabrics to create the colors, blends, and variations needed for natural settings, using Setacolor paints on cotton. Raw-edge applique is the construction technique.

Memories of Madelon - This is a memorial quilt for my mom who passed away in 2002. She loved her garden, flowers of all kinds and puzzles and games.

Stained Glass Cross - Made from fabrics I hand dyed in a Hand dye workshop. I just stacked and slashed and rearranged the piles for the Cross. Used the Press on bias tape for the leading portion.
