The Anchor Holds In Spite of the Storm - Made from a top which was about all my neice, Carla Crane could save from Hurricane Katrina's homewrecking. Blocks were made and signed by many relatives, some now gone. The top was made in the 1980's and quilted in 2007. The label was embrodiered on a peice of cotton slip from my Mom, (her grandmother) who passed away 2 years ago.

"Before Katrina" - Made from photos I made of Pascagoula, Ms. 1 month to the day before Hurricane Katrina with the intent of "one day" turning them into a pictorial quilt. Some of the places no longer exisst. It was a strange and eerie feeling working on this after seeing first hand all of the devestation. I have been asked to make a second edition of this quilt.

Jacque Cousteau's Little Secret - Based on Ricky Tim's Convergence quilts, I created this quilt, and then had fun playing with fish applique, bead embellishments and "script" quilting in the black border which tells the story of mermaids.
