Colorful Rhapsody BOM Summer 2013 - I participated in "The Quilt Show's" Summer 2013 BOM, featuring Ricky Tims' beautiful Colorful Rhapsody. I chose my own colors, utilizing Ricky Tims' hand-dyed fabrics.

New Hampshire woods - I used several paper piecing ideas and combined them into this small wall quilt for a friend who loves these colors. It is all cotton material and batting, and entirely hand quilted.

Seath's Bug Quilt - I made this for the birth of my grandson. It has blocks of appliqued bugs alternating with solid blocks and is edged with prairie points. The label on the back includes the first picture I got of my grandson via Skype when he was 2 days old.

Silver Snowtime Medley - This quilt was a Challenge for the 25th Anniversary Celebration of the Georgia Quilt Council in 2008. The theme was silver and inspired me to do this winter landscape. Parts are original, parts are adapted from Nancy Prince' book Simple Thread Painting and Sunbonnet Sue: Month-by-Month Stitchery by Little Quilts. This was my first time using Angelina fibers which I used on the lake.

Young Timothy - This quilt is based on a poem I wrote in 1971, which is printed on the top of the quilt The design of the young boy walking home from fishing is original, but the oak and pine trees were based on patterns in Nancy Prince's Simple Thread Painting and the boy is based on a patterns in Sunbonnet Sue's Neighborhood by Oxmoor House. This was my first attempt at thread painting after taking a class with Nancy Prince
