Twisted Tranquility - I took this class, taught by Jan Fitzhugh, at Stitchin' Time in Twin Falls, ID. I am donating this quilt to the Acorn Learning Center here in Twin Falls. It will be auctioned off at a benefit for the wonderful teachers at the Learning Center on March 31st.

Fruits and Veggies - I bought 16 12x18" pieces of fabric of different fruits and vegetables at a garage sale last year and was waiting for the right pattern to feature them for a wall hanging for our dining/kitchen area. I enlarged the squares from 9" to 11" to make the best use of patterns on the material.
Michigan Star

Michigan Star - Quilt designed for my Mother to use when she is in her wheel chair. Borders were made uneven to get the size I wanted. Border quilt designs were done with my embroidery machine. Center was done with quilt-in-the-ditch around the stars, with a star motif in the center.

Tree of Life - Most difficult piece done to date. And my favorite. Looked for a long time for a Frank Lloyd Wright styled pattern. Followed all instructions as printed with the exception of some small changes to recommended quilting pattern. Also used more tradition color palate than illustrated.

Big Star, Big Heart - Created in response to guild challenge with topic of American Women of Distinction. I chose Dolly Parton because of her big heart, considerable talent and bubbly personality. She has continuously given back to her community and is generous to a fault with her talent.

30s squares - reproduction 1930's prints used. Quit is scrappy 4patches with diagonal rows of solid yellow. I could say this is original, as I just added the diagonal rows where I thought they would work- However, I am sure this has been done before!

Child's Primary Quilt

Child's Primary Quilt - The built is made in primary colors of the rainbow. There are 8 blocks consisting of Sunbonnet Sue, a multilayered heart, a dog, a cat, a boat, butterfly, bear, and suspender Sam. The back is white chennile type fabric. It was machine appliqued. The patterns I found in various pattern books which I embellished on.
My First Quilt

My First Quilt - I used Red, White and Blue color theme and made 9 of the quilt blocks of the Underground Railroad pattern in the book. I learned the basics of quilting in a class that used this book. It got me totally hooked on quilting.

Radiance Jacket - The jacket is on a sweatshirt or muslin base. The pattern is based on a bargello radiating out from the center (light to dark) and the back is the oposite (dark to light).
