My Fancy Fans - Queen size quilt for my guest bed. Several modifications from the pattern in the book include: a straight edge instead of the scalloped edge in the pattern, more "open space" for quilting, and larger than pattern. Solid pink backing shows hand quilting off beautifully.

Drunk In Bali - I love Batiks and I wanted a pattern where I could use as many as possible in one quilt. This seemed to be the answer. It was my first attempt at sewing curves, and after as many as there are in this quilt, I came up with the name of my quilt... after a few glasses of wine!!

Autumn Splendor - I was inspired by the fall colors of the trees in my back yard and selected Batik fabrics (my favorites!) to express the beauty I saw in those trees. The Bargello pattern mimics the beautiful movement of the breezes rustling the leaves.
