Wedding Star
Name of Maker: Debby Luttrell
Wedding Star - Love this quilt. Was one of the most enjoyable quilts I ever made because I got to use so many different fabrics. The design is primarily paper pieced. I quilted it myself when I owned my long arm machine
Lone Star Quilt
Name of Maker: Debby Luttrell
Lone Star Quilt - This great Texas quilt is made using rail fence blocks, half square triangles, and ol'fashioned squares. The best thing about this quilt (other than the Texas flag, of course!) is the trapunto quilting in the white section: a longhorn, the Alamo, a cactus, an armadillo.
White Chocolate
Name of Maker: Debby Luttrell
White Chocolate - This is a quilt I designed with my mother in mind. She loves white on white quilts. When it was finished it was so yummy I named it "White Chocolate". It will be featured on the cover of August 2007 McCall's Quilting magazine.

puppy love
Name of Maker: Bobbie D
puppy love - My daughter Ashley picked all the fabrics for this quilt. I think she did a wonderful job. She was only ten at the time. She chose a Laurel Birch? fabric with dogs on it. We ran out of the tan and had to work in the black, I think it works.
Boyish Fun
Name of Maker: Bobbie D
Boyish Fun - My first quilt. I was terrified to make the first cuts into the fabric. I learned so much from this quilt, like you really do need to make sure you use a 1/4 inch seam LOL. I was so proud when I finished it. I had wanted to make a quilt for a long time, but I had never used a sewing machine or sewed anything by hand. I think it turned out pretty well mistakes and all.
Lotus in the Woods
Name of Maker: Mindy Washburn
Lotus in the Woods - This was from a class with Marti Michell using her Giant Dahlia templates. I had them for many years and never used the templates--I was afraid to try, but her class showed it was really very easy to piece. The center medallion is appliqued to the top.
God's Angel
Name of Maker: SDQUILTER
God's Angel - Made for may very dearest friend who has been by my side through thick & thin, through the laughter & especially the tears.
Mystique Batik
Name of Maker: Mindy Washburn
Mystique Batik - I love these "Turning" patterns for batiks--they let the pattern of the batik show, yet can appear more complicated than it really was to create. This was in the Quilter's Guild of Dallas Quilt Show, March 2007. Given to Michelle as a college graduation gift.
Star Gazzer

Star Gazzer - I was inspired by the quilts in Alex's Book Keep Quilting with Alex Anderson. But The design is mine. I am proud that I was able to creat this for my daughter Caitlin. I wanted to thank you Alex for your book and your inspiration.
