Kendra's friend - Used a star pattern from the Ouilt Loft for the main body of the quilt Embrodiered a poem written by Kendra for her friend in the middle of the quilt then around the border I embrodiered their favorite song, the back was a whole cloth and the label was embrodiery written by Kendra

Holly and Miranda - Use the Ohio Snowflake and added embroidery squares and borders. On the back used a butterfly pattern square alternating with embrodery sqaures. The back were embroidered butterflies, dogs and family. In the middle of the back was a poem her sister wrote to her that I embroidered. The border on the back I embroidered her name and holly (the dog) using a dog alpha. real cool. I also embrodiered her dog holly from a picture I took. On the front every third block was a picture of holly and in the middle was a large picture of Miranda and holly. It came out perfect!!!

Rockypoint Light - My first attempt at a watercolor quilt. It was fun and much easier than I thought it would be!

Millenium Star - Started in 2002, this is my first pieced quilt. I cut the pieces with a scissor and pieced according to directions on the pattern. Since then, I have learned more about piecing!

Back Home Again - In each window I embroidered and appliqued the state flower of a state where we have lived over the past 40 years. Beginning and retiring in Minnesota where we began our journey, I included the state bird, the loon.

Hinda's Garden - This is my first originally designed quilt using Electric Quilt 5. I digitized the four applique blocks for machine embroidery. The baby is represented by the center candybox heart, and the four corners are her parents and brothers. Their Hebrew names were machine embroidered in the Hebrew alef bet. I loved making this, and continued to modify the design until the last bit of original quilting design was completed. This quilt is what encouraged me to get my Aurora 440QE which I am thoroughly enjoying!

Welcome Caden! - I created this original design using fabric book pages as blocks and coordinating fabric for sashing. The striped border was made of the border and sashing fabric. I credit a store clerk for giving me the idea to use "ready-made" blocks. This quilt was made to be presented as a special gift from my cousins (aka memaw and papaw) to their first great-grandson, aka The Commander.

Dahila Dreams - 3-D Dahila sits on handpainted fabric-dew drops Swarovski crystals. E-bay store-Arts in Fabric and Paint.

Dream Catcher - Dream catcher is cotton rope and nylon cord. Accented with beads and feathers made of thread. Seminole pieced background. E-bay Store- Arts in Fabric and Paint.

Nevada State Seal - Made using 20,272 1/2" squares. Made to honor my grandmothers-both Nevada pioneers.

Autumn Dreams - Queen size quilt using Gentleman's Fancy block in brown and muted green with embroidered autumn foliage.

Terry's Panel - 36 X 72 quilt made to be inserted into the AIDS quilt. All cotton fabric, machine pieces, embroidered, and quilted.

Prairie Bedroom - This quilt is a variation on attic windows, using ultra suede in earth tones.

Moonlit Garden - My first quilt! Considering that I had no idea what I was doing (and still don't), I think it turned out well.

My Future's So Bright - This was a mystery quilt from New Year's Day a few years back--posted on the Planet Patchwork website. Sorry I lost track of the original name of the pattern/mystery. I used the brightest fabric in my stash at the time.

Little Boy Cars & Bears - Someone told a new mother that I made quilts and so then she ask me to make her one for her new baby. I could'nt resist.

Piecemakers raffle quilt - Piecemakers Quilt Guild had an applique clase 12 ladies made blocks set the blocks in the BQ patten than made a applique board It was raffled off in 2006 money went to more classes for the guild members to further our education.
