Rose's French Rose - Raggedy edged roses for a soft effect. I designed the machine quilting pattern that I used in the borders.

Churnin' up Some Buttercups - This is another challenge entry for the Marcus Brothers Aunt Grace fabrics. It is hanging at the Sisters Quilt Show in this picture. ONLY one line of Aunt Grace fabrics could be used and Centennial solids could be added. I love traditional patterns.

Cabin by the Lake - I made this for my bed thus the condition as it is well used. All in flannels and I live where it is cold in Northern Northern California. Problem is it is a queen size and I have a new king size bed so I put it on the bed sideways. My son took this pic with a fish eye lens (he is a navy photographer) It is hanging at the Sisters quilt show in this shot.

Rocky Mountain Puzzle - I made this quilt from a pattern in the book Shape up your Fat Quarters by Debbie Caffrey. I think I love this pattern. The first one I made was a king size and wedding gift for youngest daughter. I loved it so much that I made this one for me. I adapted it for the Marcus Brothers contest quilt also.

Blue Stars - I made the stars in a Lifetime Learning Class. They sat for a while until I took a class called "Plaid Salad" at the guild. We made filler blocks to set with Orphan Blocks. This quilt is waiting to be a wedding present for a great niece someday.

Star Bright - This is the first quilt I made. I took a beginner's quilting class and they set blocks in front of us and told us to put 2 or 3 blocks together to make a quilt. Thus the class taught us not only the basics in quilting, but also one way to design a quilt.
