Moses - This is a handquilted, depiction of Moses parting the waters. The border is as seen on one of Alex's shows...only I cut the squares in half to create a flat side to the border before applique.

My Summer Quilt - I wanted a quilt for my bed in the summertime, thus "Summer Quilt". I had this beautiful Amy Butler fabric and because the patterns are largish I didn't want to cut it up too much, so I settled on 8" blocks and 4" sashing.

Remembering Grandparents & Great Grandparents - I made this quilt for a family reunion raffle. I used "Printed Treasures" cotton fabric sheets for the photo printing of the ancestor appliques. I used Electric Quilter 6 quilting software to make the design. The colors are dark reds, creamy yellow floral and a sepia brown floral for the border and the double wedding ring center.

Manor House - I took a picture of the side entrance to our house and this is what I came up with. Of course, I combined all of my flowering plants' blooming seasons to have them all in bloom for this piece. Lots of fun. I can't wait to explore with my camera again.

Kristin's - This quilt was made for my niece's HS graduation. Her favorite color is turquoise so I hand dyed the backing fabric. She loves this quilt which makes me so happy!!

Mom and Dad's - I made this King Size quilt for my parents. They keep it on the guest bed. I love that they actually use it.

Swallow Tail - I took a picture of this guy in my garden with my new SLR digital camera. I made about 5 different versions until I settled on this one. The butterfly is 3D using wire. It really was fun trying out new techniques.

Strawberry Quilt - My grandmother made this quilt, probably in the 60's. I think everyone in this area had a strawberry quilt. I would like to make a copy someday using modern fabrics, probably batiks.

Summetime Blues - I saw this on the cover of American Patchwork and Quilting last summer and knew I had to make it!

Purple Stars - Star Sampler I did in a class with Lynn Brown , Yorba Linda Community Center.

Chris the Patriot - Picture of my nephew in head of soldier. adapted from P.S. Recess block. I quilted around all the kaki designs colors and said "I Love the USA" in blocks with soldiers.

Autumn Glow - I made this quilt for my husband's 50th birthday as he grows Japanese maples. It now hangs in his study. I bought the kit from Logan's Patchwork and then had to make it secretly to ensure it was a surprise on the big day.

Pieced in Remembrance - Paper pieced with original fabrics I found for blocks.

Born to Bat - Baseball players fussy cut in centers of block. Blue and Red, Plaid, Striped border

Corinne's story quilt - The centers of each of the 13 Bright Hope blocks contain a fabric print that depicts some aspect of Corinne's 93 years from her childhood on a country farm to her board position on the National Presbyterian Foundation.

Esther's Story Quilt - Mom gave me a sack of buttons she had collected over her 95 years and suggested I do something with them. Fabric designs depicting some aspect of her life are alternated with solid color squares that bear the buttons.
