"Dear Jane's War-My Piece" - Quilt was pieced by hand, machine, applique, paper piecing. Quilt top was completed in 8 months.

It's a Jungle Out There - Made from one piece of fabric, cut into 6 identical repeats, aligned, cut into strips, then cut into equilateral triangles, sorted by predominate colors and arranged on a design wall.

Periwinkles - One fabric, one block. Cut six repeats, align, cut into 3 & 3/4 " strips, cut equilateral triangles. Sew 3 together & three together, pin hexagon in the center. Sort & design on wall.

Inside the Twister - This quilt is made from one piece of fabric, from the Wizard of Oz collection from Quilting treasures.

My First Quilt - This was the quilt that started it all for me. This is the first quilt I started working on, though not the first to get completed.

Santas Village - This is one of my favorite Christmas decorations and has become a tradition. I chose a few of the buildings from Piece O'Cake Designs book Welcome to the North Pole. I enlarged the pattern and machine appliqued them. Every few years I add more embellishments and change the display on my mantel.

Holly's Kimono - This kimono was quilted for my sister Holly, who chose her own fabric. She had a dining room with Asian-style furniture and needed to complete her room with some Asian inspired decor. The red fabric is a Lonni Rossi fabric. The quilt was made using foundation paper pieced method. Since there was no border around the quilt, I decided an extra wide binding would help to give the edge more definition.

Readers Are Plentiful - This wall quilt was made for ny neice Nicci's 5th grade class. Each child made a seat cushion out of fabric. The class tradition, and MY CHALLENGE, was to make a quilt that used each child's fabric scrap. This was a real challenge - I received fake fur, and lots of fleece! When I saw this pattern in my software, I knew this was it. I put lightweight fusible interfacing on the back of the fleece. I fused the letters on, stitched them with monofilament thread, then heavily quilted it so that the letters and books would Pop out. Such Minnesotan notables are: Chief Justice Warren Burger, Vice President Hubert Humphrey, Vice President Walter Mondale, Charles Schulz, Judy Garland, The Andrews Sister, the Pillsbury Company Dough Boy and more! Though I live in PA, I am a native Minnesotan, so I had great fun printing off pictures of famous Minnesotans and placed them in each book. Some photos are sprinkled around the letters. I've heard that the teacher just loved this quilt.

Autumn Jewel - This scrappy quilt used up many of my beloved Autumn colored scraps. I also used a pieced backing. It was tough hand quilting through the double pieced quilt, but it was worth the effort.

Which Way Did They Go??? - This was a challenge in our Bee, to set 12" blocks in an unusual way. These are sort of my signature colors, brights with blacks and whites

Whig's Defeat - This design is a traditional pattern named for a political party from about the 1840s. I have machine and hand quilted the piece. The piecing was all done by hand in order to get the precision that I strived for.

Buckeye - Quilt made for my son-in-law in Georgia who is a huge Ohio State football fan.
