Ceil's Life - A collage of thoughts about my chesapeake bay retriever Ceil and our life together. The rainbow bridge for the future when he has to leave.
Carl's Dinosaur Quilt - Carl is definitely a saurophile! He wanted a dinosaur quilt more than anything in the world. So I made him one. It's much nicer in person.
Hannah's Doll Quilt - This was my first attempt at quilting. I used no books, and I didn't know about the "7/8th rule" so my triangles aren't quite flat. Still, it kept me going.
Buttons and Bows - I wanted to make a 3-D bow tie quilt and this design looked just right to me. My friend insisted I add buttons and they really did add something.
Flower Basket - Made at our guild as a guild project. We were given the basket fabric and we choose a background and flowers. We made what ever flowers we wanted in our baskets and completed them at home.
Noah's Stack 'n Whack - Stack 'n Whack made for my first grandchild, so I hope it is not still in pristine condition.... I hope he is enjoying it! Appliqued fish cut from fabric "swimming" out of border onto pieced part of quilt.
Sun Sue - I taught a class to digitize the Sun Sue's using BabyLock software. It was fun to see all the variations that the class members came up with. It was a fun way to learn to use the software.
Horse Quilt - This quilt was made for my neice Lindsay on her 5th birthday. She loves horses and her new puppy. Both horses and the puppy were incorporated into the quilt.
Name of Maker: Stephanie Hughes and Suzanne Lindsay
Lindsay's Welcome into the world - Made this quilt for my new neice Lindsay when she was born. On the back is her birth date, birth weight, length and signed by me and my mom.
Caribbean Nights - My daugther wanted a black and white quilt but with a Caribbean Flair. I used the yellow brick road pattern for my base and appliqued bright color parrots that I found in a magazine.
Also added a multicolor pipping between the body of the quilt and the border.
No name - My favorite pattern is log cabin. There are unlimited things you can make with it all based on size of your logs, etc. This was the very first pattern that I learned and is still my favorite.
