Cathy's Quilt - A good friend of mine was going to undergo very serious heart surgery so another friend and I made this quilt for her. It's been 3 years and she is doing well.
God Bless America - This quilt was made shortly after the bombing of the World Trade Center in 2001 and was auctioned at my son's school fund raiser. It sold for $925.00.
Sea Otter Baby Quilt - I ordered the pillow pattern from Trish at the Rushin'Tailor in Skagway Alaska. I them made 2 otter families and appliqued them onto a crib size quilt. I also made a valance for the window with one otter family.
Sushi - Woven hand dyed fabric with broaderie perse machine applique, machine quilted. Currently travelling with the Professional Art Quilters Alliance "Water" exhibit.
Breakfast at Tiffany's - Found this in Fabric Trends Magazine. For some reason Valorie Wells comes to mind??? Just loved the brights and how easy it was to do.
Memories of Mom's Family - Photo collage of mom and her family with quotes from immediate family. Mom lived to age 93 and had Alzheimers. Names were added to the fabric photos to help her remember family members longer. In blues, burgundy and black embellished with lace and crocheted appliques.
happy Halloween Boo to You - Saw a quilt that used the pinapple blocks to make circles of color. I adapted it without pattern, to this halloween quilts. Very challenging on the placement.
