Kaffe Fasset in 3D - The result of playing with 3D methods after a workshop at my LQS at the time. The LQS had just had some striped Kaffe Fasset fabrics delivered so they were recommended for the workshop. Nobody needed any encouragement to buy - we were fighting over them and they worked very well.
Yellow rose of Sharon - This quilt is made from Alexes pattern book its like her Mud quilt. yellow roses with little yellow stars in opposite blocks, with an appliqued border.
Nine Patch Jubilee - After more than 30 years of starting quilts, this is the first one that I finished! Better late than never, and hopefully the second one is close behind.
Sunny - This is a fun project from Susan Carlson's book, "Serendipity Quilts", using a glued fabric collage technique. It is a great way to play with value and colour and use up all those tiny left over scraps. The outside rays were foundation paper pieced and one has some Ricky Tims hand dyed fabric.
Hearts Ignited - An array of heart blocks partially created from a Block Swap with other quilters from all over the United States from the Quilter's Club of America.
Whirlies in my Pool - This quilt was started in 2000, and is made from a very wild jungle/parrot print. It is hand quilted in spirals that start in the center of each 7" block and spiral to the edge of each block. The edge is quilted in concentric quarter circles.
