Seminole Sampler - Seminaole bands are great fun to make. You slice, stitch, slice again, and stitch again to get the complicated designs. I taught this as a class and the ladies made beautiful and unique quilts.
Alzheimers Quilt Project - I made this quilt as an original pattern for the Alzheimers Quilt Project for my friend, Alicia Hunt. She is in the beginning stages of Alzheimers. This is the second quilt that I have made and quilted for her. This particular quilt will be going to the Alzheimers Quilt Project auction.
For Project Linus - This random patchwork quilt is to be donated to Project Linus and was made from fabrics donated by friends as well as from my stash. This quilt is designed with an older girl in mind, as many shades of pinks and mauves were used. This is a great organization that assembles all over the US so there may be a group near you. If you are interested in becoming a 'blanketeer' or just want more information, check out their website: http://www.projectlinus.org/index.shtml
George's quilt - I picked out all of the fabrics and Mom made this for me when I was 4 years old. It was the first quilt she did with free-motion quilting.
Mysterious Beginnings - This was one of my first two quilts. A local quilt shop was sponsoring a monthly mystery quilt - and I didn't know any better than to just jump in! If I'd have seen the pattern before I started, I'd never have tried it.
Stars in the Woods - This was a retreat quilt done as a mystery quilt. The original quilt called for 2 extra blocks that I turned into mini wall hangings and gave away as gifts.
From ME to You - I made this quilt for my Mom who LOVES Mary Engelbreit. I had so much fun picking out the fabrics and designing this myself! She loved it!
Better than Cheese and Crackers - My Mom has Alzeheimer's. I worked on this quilt the weekend I put her in a geriatric psych hosp. It was either comfort food or quilting. I chose quilting.
Little Pinwheels for Little P - Made for my nephew's 1st birthday (was supposed to be for his birth, but...oh well). The tiniest pinwheels I'll ever make out of 30's fabrics.
