The Little FAT Quarter That Grew - Needed to post some more quilts on my profile, so I tried to use up some FAT Quarters this afternoon and it just kept GROWING!! Come on everyone, get your quilts posted!! One of us will win Ricky's Quilt!!

Cosmic Explosions - I made this quilt using techniques learned in a workshop with Lorraine Torrence called "Improving the Checkerboard."

Lisa's Wedding Quilt - This was about the third quilt I ever made. (I never finished the first quilt I started, so this is the second quilt I every finished.) I saw John Flynn on "Simply Quilts" and he made it look so easy I figured even I could probably do it. I have to admit, the quilt went together very easily. I was astonished and extremely proud of myself -- even if it didn't get to the bride until about 2 years after their wedding. I do believe it was John Flynn's engineering background that made the pieces fit so well. Thanks John!

Sista's Craze - Started thought planning in '89, pieced and semi-quilted in '94, border quilted and binding done in 2006. Used my Singer that was made in"1876" to finish the binding!

Mariner's Compass - Easy, Fast and Fun to do! Sew on the lines, fuse, then zig-zag. Printed interfacing and instructions included.

Hekate's 1st Sampler - This class was a real brain teaser for me. We had to draft all templates and assemble into a Sampler Wall Hanging. Blocks made: Spiderweb, See Saw, Crazy Anne, Spinning Wheel, Ribbon Star, and Prize Peony.

Cody's 12th Birthday Memory Photo Quilt - This wall hanging was made for my Grandson, Cody. It reflects his famous football career.... and for me? Made me cry to see the GrandBaby growing up so fast!

Life Steps - This piece was set on the diagonal using traditional blocks.

Jungle Safari Quilt - I wanted to use this bright safari fabric that I had purchased, but sat unused. I found this pattern, and I thought it would be perfect. I went crazy with the quilting on this one, but I had a lot of fun.

Bath Time - I created this for St. Jude's Quilt of Dreams competition. I didn't win anything, but I am still very proud of it. It is both pieced and appliqued. I love the bold colors:)

Underground railroad sampler - I saw a picture online somewhere but can't remember where. I made this for my sister in law who works at a library end gives talks to kids about various subjects like the under ground railroad. I thought it would be nice if she had something to show the kids as examples.

Cats 'N Jammies
