Memories of Summer - The center of this quilt is 1/2 squares made from 2" squares. I used free motion stitching to depict the sun, shells, seaweeds, and dolphins and other marine life. Other embellishments include thread-painted turtle, jelly fish and sailboats, 3-dimensional seaweed, ribbon, glass beads, and found objects (star fish and coral).
